You can set all your social media account links to appear in the footer of your site. Go to the Site Settings menu and scroll to the bottom where you will find the Setup Social Media Links button.
Click the button to open the setup window. Here you can add the direct urls for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Vimeo and LinkedIn. If you can’t see the social media site you are looking for, click View More.
When you have added all the information, check the box Show social icons in footer and the icons for those sites you added your information for will be added to your site footer.
You can add the same links by adding a Contact Block anywhere on your site.
Adding a Dynamic Links Block
There are two different options for your social media icons; Dynamic or Static.
Dynamic links take the information from the social links you already added in your footer. This means if they need updating, you only need to do it in one place.
To edit the links from a dynamic block, just hover over the block until you see the message Setup Social Media Accounts.
The same window as before will open where you can add or edit the links.
You can add or remove links in the block, without this affecting what you have in your footer.
Those with sites created before the launch of this functionality won’t be able to use it. But, if you already have your social media links added, you will still be able to edit them.
Adding a Static Links Block
Alternately, you can add the Static Links block, which will allow you to enter your social media links via the side edit menu.
Static links have to be set up individually but enable you to add additional or alternate account information.
You can remove any of the social media channels that you do not want to include on your site. Just click to the side of the icon to highlight it and then click the ‘trash’ icon from the toolbar.
