Your Payment Processor
At SlickPic, we use Stripe for handling online transactions. If you already have a Stripe account, simply click the Connect Stripe button and enter your account details. After clicking Save, your account will be connected.
If you don’t have a Stripe account yet, click the Connect Stripe button to create a new account. Fill in your details as prompted, and you can connect your new account immediately. This will enable you to process payments through Stripe on your SlickPic store.
Apart from this, there are a few important things you might want to handle on the Stripe website itself (e.g. adding your bank account to your Stripe and other configurations related to payments).
How Stripe Works
Stripe handles payment processing for sales on your SlickPic store, acting as the payment gateway for online transactions. When a customer makes a purchase, they go through Stripe’s secure checkout process. The funds from the sale, after deducting processing fees (a commission of 10% per sale plus $0.30 as a transaction fee), are transferred to your connected bank account via Stripe.
