You can send albums to your client for proofing.
Sharing an Album for Proofing
From the Organizer, select the album you want to send for proofing and click the Share button. In the View dropdown, select Proofing View.
Click the Add Privacy button to add some privacy settings to the sharing link. For example, you can add password protection so that only the clients you share it with can access the proofing view. We also recommend setting the album as unlisted and adding a watermark. See what options you have in this help article on Album Customization. In our help site, you can also find out more on Privacy Settings and Watermarks.
Next, click Share to send to specific clients, or use the link to share with them directly.
When the client opens the album, they will see the Authorize button which lets them add reactions to the album.
We ask them for their name and email so that you can share with multiple clients and will be able to see who has added which reactions.
To see the full client journey, see the article How to Proof Photos.
Managing Your Proofing Requests
You can check on your proofing status at any time in the Organizer. Go to the album and select the Proofing tab.
From the dropdown menu at the top-left, you will be able to select the user whose reactions you would like to see. If the user hasn’t selected any photos yet, you will have their email and so can send them a reminder if you want.
Once the user has left their reactions and comments, you will be able to filter them using the icons at the top.
You will also receive an email notification including any general comments the user has left you.
If the user has left some reactions but hasn’t messaged you, you can contact them for additional information.
Copying List to Lightroom
From the album’s proofing page, click the Lightroom Copy List link at the top right and all the selected photo image file names will automatically copy to your clipboard.
In the library search field of your Lightroom account, paste the copied Image file names and you will be able to quickly locate the selected photos so that you can edit or print them, depending on what the client wants.
